What age group is the Phonics Summer Camp for?
The Nino Phonics Summer Camp 2026 is designed for children aged 3 to 6 years. We group children by readiness level rather than strict age, so 3-year-olds with strong language exposure and 6-year-olds new to phonics both fit well in our batches.
How much does the summer camp cost?
The full Phonics Summer Camp 2026 is ₹2,500 per student. This includes all live weekend sessions, practice worksheets, a digital phonics chart, recordings of every class, and a progress report at the end. Payment is one-time with no hidden fees.
When does the camp start and how long is it?
The camp runs across the summer holiday period in 2026. Classes are 45 minutes per session, held on Saturdays and Sundays. Total programme length and exact start date are shared with you within 24 hours of registration.
What will my child actually learn?
Children learn all 42 English letter sounds, blending and segmenting, CVC words, sight words, digraphs (sh, ch, th), trigraphs (igh, dge), the magic E rule, and soft/hard C and G. By the end, most children read simple sentences independently.
Are the classes live or pre-recorded?
All classes are 100% live on Zoom. Children interact with the teacher and other students in real time. We do not use pre-recorded videos. You also get session recordings to revisit anytime if your child misses a class.
My child has zero phonics knowledge. Is this camp suitable?
Yes. The camp is structured for absolute beginners. We start with phonemic awareness - hearing sounds in words - before introducing letters. Children with no prior phonics exposure thrive here because we build from scratch using the proven s-a-t-p-i-n sequence.
What equipment do we need at home?
A laptop or tablet with a working webcam and microphone, stable internet (5 Mbps or more), and a quiet corner. We also recommend pen, paper, and a small whiteboard for at-home practice between sessions. No special phonics materials required.
